A pantry meal that came together in minutes and was delicious! I used cooked frozen shrimp that I thawed and threw them in at the end to warm them up a bit but if you use uncooked shrimp just cook them in olive oil for a few minutes until done, remove them from the pan and cook the rest of the sauce, and then add them back in at the end.

Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp Fa Diavolo

1/2 lb Linguini
28 oz. diced tomatoes
5 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
4 anchovies, chopped
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 lb shrimp, peeled, deviened
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
4 oz vermouth

Recipe Directions for Shrimp Fa Diavolo

  1. Heat olive oil over medium high heat, throw in the garlic, anchovies, and red pepper flakes and stir frequently until the garlic is soft - about 1 to 2 minutes.

  2. Add your tomatoes, vermouth, and salt and stir to combine. Let simmer for 15 minutes to thicken.

  3. While sauce is simmering, cook 1/2 lb of linguini and drain.

  4. Divide the pasta between four bowls, spoon shrimp and sauce over the top and garnish with some chopped basil.
