Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp with Coconut mIlk

1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 Onion
6 cloves garlic
1 tbsp ginger
1 cup tomato
1/2 cup coconut milk
1 1/10 lb shrimp
1 tbsp chili powder

Recipe Directions for Shrimp with Coconut mIlk

  1. First saute cinnamon, cardamoms & cloves in oil

  2. Then add chopped onions & garlic.

  3. Saute till onions are light brown in color, then add ginger garlic paste and saute.

  4. Then add the shrimp, tomato, salt, turmeric (just a pinch), chilli powder (1 tbsp) and garam masala powder (1 tbsp)

  5. Saute for few minutes, till tomatoes are fried a bit.

  6. Then add water and let it cook for 5 min and then add coconut milk

  7. Let it cook till the shrimp is tender.

  8. Add little bit of coriander in the final stages of cooking and then serve hot with rice.
