Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp in Cajun Cream Sauce

1/3 cup hot water
1/4 tsp chicken bouillon
3/4 cup non-fat milk
1 T flour
2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
1 dash Tabasco
1 dash freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 salt, to taste
1 T olive oil
20 large shrimp
2 cloves garlic
1 green onions, chopped

Recipe Directions for Shrimp in Cajun Cream Sauce

  1. Sauce:

  2. Combine hot water and bouillon in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil; cook until mixture is reduced to 2T.

  3. Combine milk and flour in a small bowl; stir well. Gradually add flour mixture to wine mixture, stirring constantly. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until thickened and bubbly.

  4. Add spices and mix well.

  5. Shrimp:

  6. Heat olive oil in pan over medium hight heat. Add crushed garlic and sautee 30 seconds. Add shrimp and cook thoroughly. Add sauce to shrimp. Throw in 1 handful of chopped green onions.
