Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp and asparagus pasta

8 ounces Pasta, Fresh-refrigerated, Plain, As Purchased
16 ounces Shrimp, Mixed Species
1 Peppers, Sweet, Red
1 lb Asparagus
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 cup Parmesan, Grated Cheese
1 tsp Peppers, Sweet, Red
2 tsp Oregano, Ground
1 tsp Basil, Fresh
1 clove Garlic

Recipe Directions for Shrimp and asparagus pasta

  1. ngredients (Makes 6 servings)8 ounces penne, whole wheat

  2. 16 ounces shrimp, cleaned and peeled

  3. 1 red pepper, sliced

  4. 1 lb asparagus, cut in one inch pieces

  5. 1 tbsp olive oil

  6. 1/4 cup parmesan cheese

  7. 1/2 tsp red pepper

  8. 2 tsp oregano

  9. 1 tsp basil

  10. 1 clove garlic

  11. Directions1. In a large skillet heat olive oil over medium heat.

  12. 2. Add garlic and cook for one minute.

  13. 3. Add asparagus and sautee' asparagus for 3 minutes.

  14. 4. Add shrimp, red pepper, oregano and basil.

  15. 5. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until shrimp are pink and vegetables are tender-crisp; stirring occasionally.

  16. 6. Meanwhile, cook pasta as directed on package.

  17. 7. Drain pasta. Add shrimp & vegetables.

  18. 8. Toss with 1/4 tsp red pepper and parmesan cheese. Serve & enjoy!
