You can add 2 T. Braggs Liquid Aminos instead of soy sauce. Old Bay Seasoning can be added if desired. The calorie count is higher than listed on sparkpeople.com/recipe, which listed 111.6 calories per serving.

Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp, Asparagus and Onion Stir-Fry

8 ounce shrimp (raw)
1 T. ginger, grated
2 T. minced garlic
1 cup onion
3 cups asparagus, fresh, cut into 2" pieces
2 T. soy sauce, light (divided)

Recipe Directions for Shrimp, Asparagus and Onion Stir-Fry

  1. Stir fry shrimp in a non stick pan with the ginger and garlic, adding a little water if necessary.

  2. Sprinkle with Old Bay Seasoning if you wish and garlic powder if not using fresh garlic.

  3. Remove shrimp to a large serving bowl and set aside.

  4. Add the onion to the pan with 1 T. of Braggs, water, or soy sauce.

  5. Stir fry until mostly cooked.

  6. Add asparagus, and the other tablespoon of Braggs or soy sauce and stir fry until done as you like.

  7. Cover pan and let steam briefly to cook the asparagus a little faster.

  8. When veggies are cooked to your liking, stir in the shrimp and heat through.

  9. Spoon the whole mixture back into the serving bowl, or just divide in half onto 2 plates.
