Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp & Adnouille Jambalaya

12 oz andouille sausage, sliced 1/2 inch thick
1/4 c olive oil
1 3/10 c onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 green pepper, diced
14 1/2 oz can diced tomatoes
1 c chicken broth
1 tsp thyme, dried
12 oz shrimp, medium size
6 tsp Tabasco

Recipe Directions for Shrimp & Adnouille Jambalaya

Brown andouille in olive oil. When browned, add onion, garlic and green pepper. Saute vegetables until onions are becoming translucent. Add tomatoes, chicken broth and thyme, and bring to a simmer. Simmer about 20 minutes to blend flavors. Add shrimp and simmer about 5 more minutes, or long enough to cook the shrimp. Add salt, pepper and Tabasco to taste.
