Recipe Ingredients for Shoyu Chicken

12 oz Fresh Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
0.67 cup, packed Sugars, Brown
0.67 cup Soy Sauce
0.67 cup (8 fl oz) Water
2 1/2 clove Garlic
2 tsp Ginger Root
2 tsp Pepper, Black
0.67 tablespoon Oregano

Recipe Directions for Shoyu Chicken

  1. Whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, water, garlic, ginger, pepper, oregano and paprika in a large bowl. Add chicken ad toss to coat. Cover and marinate in fridge for at least an hour --longer is better.

  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place chicken in foil wrapped baking dish and add sauce. Bake for 40-45 minutes turning when half way done.

  3. Serve over rice.
