Shoyu Chicken Recipe

Makes 4 servings



Sweet & Salty chicken thighs. Can also dump ingredients in a crock pot and cook all day.

Recipe Ingredients for Shoyu chicken

1 lb chicken thighs , bone in (can use boneless & adjust calories)
1/2 cup water
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sugar

Recipe Directions for Shoyu chicken

  1. Brown chicken thighs in pan using cooking spray or butter. If using butter, add calories in.

  2. Add water, minced garlic, soy sauce and sugar to pan.

  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer and cook until chicken thighs are cooked through.

  4. Serve over rice.
