A simple recipe for delicious shortbread.

Recipe Ingredients for Shortbread

1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cups butter
3 cups white flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Recipe Directions for Shortbread

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

  2. Cream the sugar, salt and butter together.

  3. Add in the flour until dough forms.

  4. Refrigerate dough for 30 min.

  5. Flour the counter or workspace and roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick.

  6. Cut out shapes or make wedges.

  7. Place the cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet.

  8. Bake for 20 to 25 min.

  9. Cool for 5 minutes.
