Indulgent Biscuit for occasional treat

Recipe Ingredients for Shortbread

125 grams unsalted butter
55 grams sugar
180 grams plain flour

Recipe Directions for Shortbread

  1. Beat butter and sugar until soft and pale

  2. Mix in flour in to make a soft paste

  3. Press into a 7 in lined cake tin and flute edge

  4. Prick all over with a fork and sprinkle a little extra sugar over

  5. Place in fridge and chill for 30 mins

  6. Put into oven 190c for 15 to 20 mins until cooked and golden.

  7. Once cooked leave to cool for 5 minutes then mark pieces into 12 for breaking once completly cold
