Recipe Ingredients for Shortbread Biscuits

125 grams butter
200 grams plain flour
65 grams sugar

Recipe Directions for Shortbread Biscuits

  1. Oven 180c/160 Fan

  2. Cream the butter and 55 grams of the sugar, stir in the flour (I prefer to use 180 grams Flour and 20 grams Crn Starch) to make a paste.

  3. Once all the ingredients are combined shape into biscuits - I use two teaspoons to shape small irregular shaped balls of paste then flatten with a fork, they actually look better than it sounds. Sprinkle a little of the remaining 10 grams of sugar over each biscuit

  4. Bake on a tray lined with baking paper in oven for 10 to 12 mins until golden brown.

  5. Remove allow to cool, pack up to give away immediately these biscuits are addictive!
