Recipe Ingredients for Shoo Fly Cupdakes

2 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Unbleached
139 3/5 grams Whole Wheat Flour
0.5 cup Butter
1 cup Sugars, Granulated
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
1 cup Molasses
1.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 tsp Baking Soda

Recipe Directions for Shoo Fly Cupdakes

  1. 1. Cut together flours, butter sugar and salt. Reserve 1 cup for topping.

  2. 2. combine molasses, 1.5 cup boiling water and baking soda in a large bowl.

  3. 3. Add flour and molasses mixtures together, do not mix too much.

  4. 4. fill paper lined muffin cups 3/4 full of batter and top with crumb mixture.

  5. 5. Bake at 350 Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.
