Decadent baked eggs; a great recipe for a crowd.

Recipe Ingredients for Shirred Eggs

4 large eggs
1 tbs grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp parsley
1 pinch salt
1 dash pepper
4 tsp heavy cream
1/2 tsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Shirred Eggs

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. Rub 4 ramekins with the olive oil, to grease (butter can be subbed if desired).

  3. Add 1 tsp of heavy cream (this is optional, but tasty) to each ramekin, then break 1 egg into each.

  4. Top with fresh chopped parsley, salt, pepper, and Parmesan (feel free to exchange other seasonings or leave any of this off).

  5. Place on a baking pan, bake for 10-15 minutes until the eggs are set. Serve (don't worry if they are not baked all the way through - let them sit in their ramekins for a few minutes; they will continue cooking).
