Recipe Ingredients for Sherry's Banana Nut Muffins

1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup applesauce
4 large ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon baking soda

Recipe Directions for Sherry's Banana Nut Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place muffin cups in muffin tin.

  2. Mix sugar, applesauce, and egg until creamy and light yellow. Add bananas and pecans. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir until completely smooth. Spoon the batter into the muffin tin.

  3. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until toothpick poked in center muffin comes out clean.
