This is a traditional Indian Vegetarian main course.

Recipe Ingredients for Shepu Moong sabji

350 g dill
150 g Dhal
4 tsp oil
3/20 tsp salt
1 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
1 tsp Black Mustard Seed

Recipe Directions for Shepu Moong sabji

  1. Preparation:

  2. Soak dhal in water for about 4 to 6 hours.

  3. Heat oil and add black mustard seed

  4. wait for the mustard seeds to split

  5. add the chilli powder, salt and turmeric, stir on low heat until slightly red

  6. Add Dhal and stir until soft and slightly changes to dark color

  7. Then add Dill and let it cook on slow heat.
