One-dish casserole, family favorite (Can be served with brown gravy, but adds more fat and calories!)

Recipe Ingredients for Shepherds Pie

10 red potatoes
4 T butter
1/2 cup skim milk
2 lbs. ground turkey
1 1/2 cups corn
1 1/2 cups peas
2 onions
2 cloves garlic
4 oz. colby jack cheese
2 T Worcestershire sauce
1 T Italian seasoning
1 Black Pepper
1 tsp paprika

Recipe Directions for Shepherds Pie

Peel, quarter, and boil potatoes. When done, mash with 1/4 cup butter and 1/2 cup skim milk. While potatoes are cooking, saute onions. Brown ground turkey in onion/garlic mixture. Add worcestershire sauce and Italian seasoning. Thaw frozen peas and corn. When meat is done, layer bottom of 5-qt. casserole baking dish. Layer peas and corn next. Top off with mashed potatoes. Shred Colby Jack cheese on top for color and flavor. Sprinkle with paprika, if desired.
