Recipe Ingredients for Shepherd's Pie

1 lb ground beef
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
2 cups frozen peas
2 cups frozen corn
3 cups mashed potatoes
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup cream cheese
2 teaspoons salt
1 cup cheese

Recipe Directions for Shepherd's Pie

Cook onions and garlic for a few minutes. Add beef. Cook till brown add salt to taste. Drain beef and put it in the bottom of a glass loaf pan (could use a 9x13 instead for a wider, more shallow version). Pour veggies over beef, you do not need to thaw. After boiling potatoes, add butter, salt (to taste) and cream cheese and mash. Spread mashed potatoes over veggies. Sprinkle cheese over top. Bake at 350 for 20 min. or so till warm through.
