Recipe Ingredients for Shepherd's Pie

1/2 pounds lean ground beef
15 ounces mixed vegetables
7/10 can cream of mushroom soup
2 potatoes
1/8 cups dried onions
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup fat free milk

Recipe Directions for Shepherd's Pie

  1. Brown ground beef.

  2. Drain vegetables.

  3. Mix ground beef, vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, dried onions, and water.

  4. Chop potatoes and boil in water until soft.

  5. Add milk and butter (and salt and pepper to taste) to the drained potatoes. Mash the potatoes and place on top of beef mixture. Cook 350 degree oven until hot and bubbly -- about 30 minutes.
