Basically the same as Shepherd's pie without the cheese and tomato soup concentrate.

Recipe Ingredients for Shepherd's Pie Low Cal Version

450 g beef, ground
1/8 cup bell pepper
1/8 cup onion
12 ounces mixed vegetables
8 ounces tomato sauce
2 cups mashed potatoes

Recipe Directions for Shepherd's Pie Low Cal Version

  1. Spray a casserole dish with Pam

  2. Preheat oven to 350.

  3. Layer in ground beef (about 1 lb that has been browned and drained) with frozen bell pepper and onion.

  4. Layer on drained VegAll. Salt and Pepper to taste.

  5. Pour on tomato sauce and shake dish to let it seep down through all layers.

  6. Spread on the mashed potatoes and pepper it. You might even like to sprinkle with a little paprika for color.

  7. Remember NO CHEESE....but mmmm. Less calories.
