Recipe Ingredients for Shepard's Pie / Deer Meat

32 oz Deer, Ground
16 oz Beef, Ground, 80% Lean Meat / 20% Fat, Crumbles
6 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled
1 package (10 oz) yields Vegetables, Mixed
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
32 oz ChefStyle Sharp Cheddar Shredded Cheese
1 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
8 tbsp Shedd's Spread Country Crock Light Soft

Recipe Directions for Shepard's Pie / Deer Meat

  1. Peel, dice and put potatos on to boil.

  2. Brown the deer meat and beef.

  3. Saute diced onion.

  4. Place meats and onion in baking dish. (or 2)

  5. Top with veggies.

  6. Mash boiled pototos.

  7. Add milk and butter to taste.

  8. Spread over top of other ingredients.

  9. Spread cheese over top.

  10. Cook in 400 degree oven until brown and bubbly. About 30 minutes.
