Delicious Wheat, Oat, and Flax Seed bread

Recipe Ingredients for Shelly's Wheat Bread

1 1/2 c bread flour
1 1/2 c whole wheat flour
1 c rolled oats
2 tbsp milled flax seed
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 cup 1% Milk
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp dry active yeast

Recipe Directions for Shelly's Wheat Bread

  1. Milk should be luke warm

  2. Mix all ingredients in a stand mixer

  3. Use dough hook to knead for about 8 minutes, until dough is elastic and looks fairly smooth

  4. Transfer to a very lightly grease or sprayed bowl, cover, and allow to rise for 1 hour (won't fully double)

  5. On a lightly floured surface, gently roll the dough into the shape of a loaf

  6. Transfer to a 9x5 loaf pan (greased if necessary), cover, and let rise again for 60-90 minutes

  7. Preheat oven to 350, bake for 35-40 minutes
