Recipe Ingredients for Shelly's Chili

2 lbs beef, ground, 95% lean
2 oz bacon
3/4 c onion
3 jalepeno peppers
4 tbs chili powder
2 tbs cumin
1 tbs oregano
1 tsp kosher salt
28 oz crushed tomatoes
30 oz kidney bean

Recipe Directions for Shelly's Chili

  1. chop bacon and brown in a large pot. Add ground beef, onion and jalepenos and cook until soft. Add remainder of ingredients and cook until beef is brown. Transfer to crock pot.

  2. Serve with chopped onion, jalepenos and grated cheddar.
