Recipe Ingredients for Shawna Sloane's Meatloaf

2 pounds ground beef, raw
1/4 cup onion, minced
2 tbsp garlic, minced
3/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup olives, chopped (preferably kalamata)
2 eggs
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp ketchup

Recipe Directions for Shawna Sloane's Meatloaf

Preheat oven to 375*F. In a large bowl, mix first 9 ingredients together until well incorporated. Press into the bottom of a large bread pan. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly onto the top of the meat and lightly press down. Squirt about 2 Tablespoons of ketchup onto the top of the brown sugar, in a striped fashion. Bake for 30 minutes and drain excess grease. Bake for another 30-50 minutes or until the center is no longer pink.
