This is a great basic sauce to use for spaghetti, lasagna, pizza, or anything requiring a good, hearty red sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Sharma's Spaghetti Sauce

2 T. olive oil
1 pound carrots
1 onion
3 zucchini
1 T. red pepper flakes
28 oz. can diced tomatoes
28 oz. can diced tomatoes
28 oz. Tomatoes Crushed In Puree
3 t. minced garlic
4 T. Italian Seasoning
4 T. salt

Recipe Directions for Sharma's Spaghetti Sauce

  1. Saute' carrots, onions, and zucchini in olive oil.

  2. When onions are translucent and the veggies are soft, add red pepper flakes and garlic.

  3. Add all tomatoes, italian seasoning, and season salt.

  4. Simmer for 2 hours or as long as you can. (The longer it simmers the better the flavor gets.)
