Makes 24 servings



Spelt/Rye bread dough. We make this in the kis preschool, we give each kid a ball of the dough when it's ready and they use it like playdough to create something. After it's been baked, it keeps it's form pretty good! It's a funny healthy way to lead into snack time!

Recipe Ingredients for Shani's Bread Recipe

2 cups spelt flour
2 cups rye flour
3 teaspoons yeast
2 tbsp sugar
3 tsp salt
2 tbsp oil
2 cups warm water

Recipe Directions for Shani's Bread Recipe

  1. Mix all ingredients together (if it's sticky, add some more flour)

  2. Let the dough rest for 45 minutes in a warm place

  3. bake 30min @ 350F
