Recipe Ingredients for Shahi Paneer

3 cups 1% milk (for 200 grams Paneer)
2 tbs lemon juice (for 200 grams Paneer)
2 onions
2 tsp Ginger root (1 inch)
3 cloves Garlic
1 jalepeno pepper
1/2 tsp White pepper
1 tsp chili powder
3/4 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tbs Cream
2 tbs cashews (for 1/4 cup dry fruits)
2 tbs raisins (for 1/4 cup dry fruits)
1/2 cup 1% Milk
1 1/2 tbs olive oil
1 Salt to taste

Recipe Directions for Shahi Paneer

  1. Saute the dry fruits in 1/2 tbsp. of oil. Set aside.

  2. Grind onion, ginger, garlic, green chilli in a blender and make a fine paste. Fry in 1 tbs oil until golden brown and oil starts separating.

  3. Add salt, red chilli powder, white pepper, turmeric powder, garam masala. Saute for 1-2 minutes.

  4. Add milk to make the gravy. Bring the gravy to boil. Reduce the heat and cook until the gravy becomes thick.

  5. Stir in the dry fruits. Add paneer pieces and 1 tbsp cream. Heat for 5 minutes.
