Recipe Ingredients for Sexy Rice Pilaf

1/2 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup Craisins
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1/2 teaspoon basil
1 cup cooked brown rice

Recipe Directions for Sexy Rice Pilaf

  1. In a skillet, heat butter over medium heat. Add onion and celery and cook till translucent. Add cherries, almonds, basil, salt and pepper to taste. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add rice; mix well. Cook 3 to 4 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.

  2. Serves 2 (with leftovers for 2)
