Seviyan is prepared using vermicelli, milk and sometimes nuts are used. Also known as seviyan kheer. It is very easy to prepare and tastes delicious.

Recipe Ingredients for Seviyan (Vermicelli Sweet Dish)

0.38 pkg Vermicelli
2 serving Kirkland Reduced Fat Milk
18 tsp Pure Cane Sugar
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter

Recipe Directions for Seviyan (Vermicelli Sweet Dish)

  1. Method:

  2. Rub saffron into 1 tablespoon milk till well broken and dissolved. Keep aside.

  3. Heat ghee or unsalted butter in heavy bottom pan, fry vermicelli until light brown.

  4. Add milk to fried vermicelli, bring it to boil.

  5. Add sugar, dissolve kesar, almonds and pistachios to it and mix well.

  6. Simmer for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.

  7. Add cardamom powder and turn off the heat.

  8. Enjoy seviyan hot or cold.
