Recipe Ingredients for Sesame Noodles with Asparagus

12 oz. soba noodles
1 1/2 lbs. asparagus
7 green onions
1 cup napa cabbage, shredded
1/3 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup sesame oil
3 tbsp dark sesame oil
7 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
3 tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp ginger, minced
2 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 cup parsley, minced

Recipe Directions for Sesame Noodles with Asparagus

  1. Mix the marinade ingredients (sesame oils, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, salt and parsley).

  2. Boil the soba noodles according to package instructions. Drain under cold water.

  3. Slice the asparagus on the diagonal, blanch in boiling water, drain and add to the noodles. Mix everything together (including the cabbage and green onions) and top with the sesame seeds.
