Recipe Ingredients for Senegalese Peanut soup

1 medium Onions
2 cloves, raw Garlic
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil, Canola
1 tbsp Curry Powder
12 fl oz Soup, Chicken Broth Or Bouillon
5 medium Tomatoes
3 tbsp Peanut Butter, Smooth Style
3 tbsp Heavy Cream
1 serving Cayenne Pepper

Recipe Directions for Senegalese Peanut soup

  1. Over medium heat, cook the chopped onion, garlic and cayenne pepper until the onion turns translucent (10 min).

  2. Stir in curry powder (preferably garam masala) for about 1 min.

  3. Add the chicken broth and tomatoes, simmer for 10 minutes.

  4. Whisk in the peanut butter, add the heavy cream if wanted.

  5. Season with salt and pepper.
