Chunky vegetables in a savory broth with satisfying Seitan.

Recipe Ingredients for Seitan Stew

2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp Olive Oil
8 oz. Seitan
2 c. white pearl onions
2 large carrots, diced
2 cup+slices parsnips
3 celery stalks, diced
4 c. vegetable broth
2 c. water
1 c. cooked barley

Recipe Directions for Seitan Stew

Combine flour, seasonings, and cubed seitan in plastic bag. Shake to coat. Heat oil in pot, add seitan, browning on all sides. Chop vegetables into chunks, then add to cooked seitan. Add broth and water, bring to boil. Simmer until vegetables are tender. Add cooked barley before serving. Season to Taste
