Recipe Ingredients for Seitan Ribs

2 tsp paprika
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder
3/4 cup water
2 tbsp tahini
1 tsp liquid smoke
1 tsp soy sauce
1 cup barbecue sauce

Recipe Directions for Seitan Ribs

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Lightly spray 8x8 baking dish with oil.

  3. Mix vwg and first 4 ingreds in large bowl.

  4. Mix the water, tahini, liquid smoke and soy sauce then add to the dry ingredients.

  5. Stir to mix well then knead lightly for a couple of minutes.

  6. Put the dough in the baking dish and flatten so it evenly fills the pan.

  7. Cut into 8 strips then in half to form 16 pieces.

  8. Bake 25 minutes.

  9. Grill and brush the top with barbecue sauce.
