made from scratch with vital wheat gluten flour

Recipe Ingredients for seitan

1 1/2 cups wheat gluten flour
1/2 cups nutritional yeast
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup water

Recipe Directions for seitan

  1. mix together dry ingredients

  2. press garlic and add to wet ingredients

  3. add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and knead for 3 minutes

  4. simmer in 10 cups of water and soy sauce for 1 hour
