Recipe Ingredients for Seitan

1 cup Vital Wheat Gluten
0.5 Cube Vegetable Stock Cubes
1.5 serving Almond

Recipe Directions for Seitan

  1. use appropriately flavored vegan bouillon cubes, make 1 cup, add to seitan & cream.

  2. Kneed, roll out on cutting board, cut into 4 wedges. Flatten out into filet-like shape

  3. place in boiling broth (see separate recipe). Simmer for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

  4. remove w/ slotted spoon, drain & use in recipe as desired

  5. to store unused filets, store in simmering liquid & drain as needed
