Baked Seitan. Based off a recipe from vegweb. I didn't like the original spicing, and am in the process of altering the flavor. Texture is amazing, though.

Recipe Ingredients for Seitan experiment #1

1 1/2 cups flour, vital wheat gluten
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1 tsp salt
2 tsp garlic powder
3/4 cups water
1 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp italian dressing
4 tbsp tomato sauce

Recipe Directions for Seitan experiment #1

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Bake at 350F for 1 hour, to 1hour and 20 minutes.

  3. Eat.
