Recipe Ingredients for Seb's Sucre la creme

2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
1 tablespoon margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
500 g Cooking Cream 15%

Recipe Directions for Seb's Sucre la creme

  1. In a large saucepan put in the cream, the sugar and the brown sugar

  2. Bring to a boil on medium-high while stirring with a wooden spoon

  3. Once it is boiling heavily, turn down the heat to medium low and stir constantly

  4. After a few minutes (10-15 depending on the oven) you should see the mixture thickening.

  5. Take a glass and put some cold water in it, drop a tiny bit of mixture inside, if it hardens into a small ball, try to grab it with your fingers and taste it.

  6. Once the water test has been passed, take the mixture off the heat, add the margarine and the vanilla extract.

  7. Whisk with an electric beater until it starts to harden and becomes very smooth

  8. Put into a greased container and let rest in the frige for a few hours until it's hard.
