Recipe Ingredients for Seasoned Brown Rice

1 1/3 cups water
2/3 cup long grain brown rice
1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger (reduce amount)
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (reduce amount)

Recipe Directions for Seasoned Brown Rice

  1. In a small saucepan, bring water and rice to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 35-45 minutes or until water is absorbed and rice is tender. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Yield:
