Seared Tofu (a variation) from Totally Vegetarian by Toni Fiore.

Recipe Ingredients for Seared Tofu

3 tbsp. olive oil
15 oz. extra-firm tofu
2 tbsp. soy sauce

Recipe Directions for Seared Tofu

  1. Drain tofu for at least 30 minutes to a few hours.

  2. Cut tofu into chunks, slabs or cubes.

  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until hot.

  4. Place tofu in oil and cook until easily moved by shaking the skillet or using a spatula. (don't fidget or it might fall apart)

  5. Flip over and cook other side.

  6. When it's almost done, sprinkle the soy sauce over it.
