Scrambled Tofu Recipe

Not necessarily low in fat, but is plenty good for you all the same. From the liver cleansing diet.

Recipe Ingredients for Scrambled Tofu

2 tbsp water
740 g tofu, chopped
2 onions, diced
1 tbsp garlic
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
4 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tbsp mustard
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp curry powder
2 tbsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp dried tarragon
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

Recipe Directions for Scrambled Tofu

  1. Heat the water in a wok, add the tofu, onions, garlic, capsicum and mushrooms, then add oil

  2. Cook for 8-10 minutes over a medium heat

  3. Mix the mustard and soy sauce together in a bowl and pour over tofu mixture in the wok

  4. Stir in the curry powder, parsley, taragon, chili powder, pepper and salt and continue cooking for 6-8 minutes until most of the liquid evaporates
