Pancakes substituting oatmeal for 1/2 the usual flour

Recipe Ingredients for Scottish Oatmeal Pancakes

4 oz flour
4 oz oatmeal
2 oz sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 egg
1/2 cup milk, 1% butterfat

Recipe Directions for Scottish Oatmeal Pancakes

Mix dry ingredients. Add egg and milk to the consistency of thick cream. Place 8 spoonfulls on hot gridle (350 degrees). Cook until golden brown on one side, and then turn and cook the other side until golden brown. Serve hot with butter, syrup or jam.
