Recipe Ingredients for scotsfirth - Loaded Mashed Potatoes

5 pounds russet potatoes
3/4 cup sour cream
3 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic
4 green onions
15 oz chicken broth
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
6 cooked bacon
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for scotsfirth - Loaded Mashed Potatoes

  1. Chop and boil potatoes until soft enough to mash

  2. Mash potatoes gradually adding the chicken broth, sour cream, butter, mashed garlic, most of the diced green onions, 4-5 slices crumbled bacon, 1 cup cheddar cheese, and garlic and onion powder until desired consistency.

  3. Sprinkle the top with remaining 1-2 slices crumbled bacon, paprika, cheese, and green onion.

  4. Serve (0.5 cup = 1 serving)
