Vary the fruit for different flavours

Recipe Ingredients for Scones

3 cups flour
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup margarine
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup raisins
1 tbsp cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Scones

  1. Blend dry ingredients.

  2. Blend in margarine.

  3. Add egg, milk and water. Mix to a thick dough.

  4. Kneed on floured surface.

  5. Roll out to 1" thick circle. Place on cookie sheet. Cut into 6 - 8 wedges.

  6. Bake 375 degrees for 20 min.
