There not to bad. There not sweet. I may add a tablespoon of sugar or splenda next time to make them a little sweeter. And next time I think I will add 2t. of butter extract to the yogurt. I miss the butter flavor.

Recipe Ingredients for Scones

2 cup Flour
1 cup Fat Free Yogurt
3 tsp Baking Powder
2 T Raisins
1 tsp lemon zest
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp Sea Salt

Recipe Directions for Scones

  1. Flour, baking powder, salt, raisins and lemon zest in a bowl. Mix egg whites with yogurt I used Dannon Light and Fit Vanilla. Add yogurt, egg mixture to flour mix just to bring together.

  2. Important to work the dough as little as possible to keep the scones from getting tough.

  3. Pat into round on parchment paper and cut into 12 wedges. Brush with egg wash and bake at 400 for 20 minutes till golden brown.
