I never know what to put in these description fields...they're scones....kind of like a biscuit, but a little denser and sweeter. Great with English Breakfast tea!

Recipe Ingredients for Scones

1 cups flour
1/2 tbl baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
4 tbl butter
1/8 cup sugar
1/3 cup milk

Recipe Directions for Scones

In large bowl combine flour, baking powder, and salt, mix well. Add cold, cut-up butter and cut in with fingers, pastry blender, or mixer on low until mixture turns to fine granules. Add milk and stir until soft dough forms. Form into ball, then knead 10-12 on lightly floured board. Separate dough into four balls and press out into rounds. Bake 12 minutes or until golden brown on top. Serve with butter and maybe a little strawberry jam. Yum!
