Mums age old recipe, chicken curry in a curry sauce served on a bed of rice.

Recipe Ingredients for Schwartz Thai curry - home made

4 cups rice
500 g chicken, diced
1 litre chicken stock
2 tbsp cornflour
3 tbsp curry powder
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 large onion, diced
1 tbsp sugar

Recipe Directions for Schwartz Thai curry - home made

  1. Dry fry the chicken, maybe adding a spoonful of water to prevent sticking

  2. Add the onions and fry.

  3. Add the curry powder and stir fry until chicken becomes flavoured.

  4. Mix the chicken stock into the cornflour.

  5. Pour over chicken and onions and simmer until thickens.

  6. Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup and sugar.

  7. Cook for 15minutes. Put on rice.

  8. Serve both piping hot.
