Recipe Ingredients for Schezuan shrimp

1 pound shrimp
3 T water
2 T catsup
1 T reduced sodium soy sauce
1 T rice wine
2 t cornstarch
1 t honey
1/2 t crushed red pepper
1 t grated fresh gingerroot
1 T peanut oil
1/2 c sliced green onions
4 cloves garlic

Recipe Directions for Schezuan shrimp

  1. combine water, catsup, soy sauce, rice wine, cornstarch, honey, red pepper

  2. heat peanut oil and saute gingerroot, green onions and garlic over low heat until soft and browning. Push to the side and saute shrimp in the middle until opaque. Push to the side and pour sauce in the middle stirring until bubbly.

  3. Combine and serve over rice or vermacelli
