56 g dry elbow macaroni
1/2 lb scallops
1 tbsp olive oil
1 bell pepper
1/2 onion
14 1/2 oz tomato
12 g bacon

Recipe Directions for scallops with Orecchiette pasta in red sauce

  1. cook bacon, remove and set aside.

  2. pan sear scallops

  3. sweat 1/2 onion and 1 bell pepper (julienne)

  4. add dash garlic powder and 1 can diced tomato with liquid

  5. reduce to thicken slightly and add scallops and bacon

  6. serve over pasta
