Scallops with chili sauce - I usually serve with Baby bok choy - - probably a few more calorie with chili sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Scallops in Chili Sauce

2 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tsp grated ginger
1 lb. sea scallops
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 cup chili sauce
2 tbsp chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Scallops in Chili Sauce

  1. Marinade

  2. 1. Combine marinade ingredients in a medium bowl. Add scallops and stir to coat. Let stand for 10 minutes. Drain scallops and pat dry with paper towels.

  3. Sea Scallops in Sweet Chili Sauce

  4. 1. Heat a wide nonstick frying pan over medium-high heat until hot. Add oil, swirling to coat the bottom. When oil is hot, add scallops, and pan-fry, turning once, until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side.

  5. 2. Combine sweet chili sauce and broth in a small saucepan; heat to simmering. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly, about 2 minutes.
