can add 1/4 C shopped roasted red sweet peppers or pimentos

Recipe Ingredients for Scallops and broccoli pasta

12 oz scallops
2 c broccoli
1/2 c green onion
4 t cornstarch
1 t herbs
1/4 t garlic powder
1/8 t pepper
3/4 c chicken broth
2 T white wine
2 c cooked egg noodles

Recipe Directions for Scallops and broccoli pasta

  1. Thaw scallops if frozen. Rinse; pat dry. Cook broccoli, adding green onions for the last minute. Drain. Set aside

  2. In a med saucepan combine cornstarch, herbs, garlic powder and black pepper. Stir in broth and wine. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Add scallops; return to boiling. Cook and stir for 1-3 mins more or until scallops are opaque. Stire in broccoli-onion mixture (and roasted red peppers or pimentos, if using). Cook about 1 min more or until heated through. Serve over hot cooked pasta.
