lower calorie version...serve over spaghetti or other pasta (1 cup each - cal 221, fat 1.3, fibre 2.5)

Recipe Ingredients for Scallops Alfredo

7 oz scallops, cooked
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp all purpose flour
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup 1% milk
1 cup frozen green peas, cooked

Recipe Directions for Scallops Alfredo

  1. saute garlic in melted butter

  2. add flour to butter misture to make a roux

  3. add milk slowly and stir to prevent lumps

  4. add in peas to heat through

  5. add in scallops to heat through but do not boil as scallops will go rubbery

  6. serve over pasta or rice (nutrient values will need to be added in)
